DESCRIPTION

This is a personal mod I started that kind of kept growing and growing over time. A lot of my decisions for this are arbitrary and based on personal tastes and (limitation of) skill. But basically I wanted to add some of that old school 6th Edition flair that I grew up with, back into Kislev.

The main goals of this are to merge the new and old directions of Kislev, while trying to add some more visual consistency into Kiselv. It’s nothing major, it’s mostly vanilla assets and retextures but it should run well performance wise and be fairly compatible with other mods. I hope people enjoy it!

WHAT THIS MOD DOES
Faction Colours:

– The Great Orthodoxy: Changed primary colour to be warmer yellow and less a nuclear piss yellow.

– Ursun Revivalists: Changes the existing faction Icon to be red. Changed Primary Colour to be Red with the secondary colour being the same light blue. Both due to Boris being "The red Tzar" but also as a nod to the older editions Kislev colour scheme.

Bears & Cavalry:

– Light War Sleds, Heavy War Sleds, War Bear Riders, Little Grom and Feral Bears to have beige, Brown and black bear variants. Oath-Brothers of Tor RoR shifted to white mounts. Also edits their unit cards to reflect these changes.
Basically all the changes in my "War Bear Color Variation" mod. So check that for more details or screenshots.

– Bear & Gryphon Legion & Ulrika mount armour textures have had ice effects removed (unless they are a dedicated ice mage.)

– Gryphon Legion’s horses to be white with painted on red patterns. (Based off table top schemes.)

– The mounts for lords and heroes. Kostaltyn gets a black bear, The Golden Knight and Borsi get white horses to help them stand out. Boyars and Patriarchs get brown bears while everyone else remains unchanged.

– Adds a fix to the texture pop in issue that was plaguing one of the Winged Lancer horse variants.

Infantry:

– Kossars & Kislevite warriors: Mixes together their components and re-textures them to match each other. Adds iconography and other elements found throughout the rest of the faction. Also removes the DIY weapons so they have a more structured look, also adds a new furry hat variant. (Overall based off the table top Kossars/Mordheim Kislevite warband.)

– Armored Kossars: Gives two new torso variants with sleeves while also removing some of the trophies and extra embellishments from the torsos and Helmets. Recolours the helmet feathers black. This all gives them a rugged but slapped together and mixed common man feeling.

– Tsar Guard: Gives all variants sleeves (based off concept and loading screen art work), kept all the trophies and embellishments, gave all the helmet plumage faction colouring, as well as two new aventail head variants. These details should help add more of a visural differance between the Tsar Guard and Armored Kossars. With the Guard being more hand picked, combat experienced and wealthier individuals.

– ice Guard: Replaced the Ice Glaive, Ice Sword Weapons and Bows for the ice Guard to be more in line with the rest of the factions ascetics. More wood, faction colouring and cool metals, while keeping the enchanted Ice for the blades and arrows themselves.

– Regiments of Renown: The Watchmen & Dazh’s Hearth-Blades carry through with a lot of the Tsar Guard changes.

Compatibility & Updates

Was build to support use with Dismemberment Overhaul, War Sleds Defrosted/The Motherland, and Details Matter.

Overall there shouldn’t be any major compatibility issues but we’ll see how that goes.

The mod should work even if it’s "outdated"
