Nirkansk another pre populated version
Hello and welcome to another version of the great map Nirkansk.
The landscape and Name were created by Cepelinas Grietinius back in May 2025. In this version of the map I made some adjustments to the landscape, the ressources, the borders and I pre populated the map on my own.
Why did I make another version of the map in the first place? Well, I was looking for a map… a good map… a brilliant map… and I found it! But not in the condition I wanted to start an early start game. I wanted a pre populated map with roads, streets and a little story… this was far before the time Cepelinas Grietinius came up with the marvelous populated version “people’s republic of Nirkansk”.
There are no production nor service buildings on this version of the map, except a few monuments. It’s purely designed as pre populated map like the first map made by Peter “Eastern European hills”. You are free to start where you want. I’d suggest to start at one of the Border Towns Grestin or Corasna, as they both have a big Customs house. Next to all bigger towns is more or less flat space to build service buildings and do further expansion.
There are a lot of farmplots on the map. I only used small farms as they are most suitable for the horse farm. They come in groups of 16 plots, which is a fair amount per horse farm with one plow and one harvester (there are 2 new horse drawn combines, one in novu’s troika pack and one made by me). If the farm performs well, you could easily add some more fields. Please keep in mind, for me this is a land of hedges so don’t wonder why they are everywhere…
In the end it took me a few months to create this map. I hope you like it and it has the feels Cepelinas Grietinius created. But I hope this map plays differently, anyhow.
