LuAZ-1301
LuAZ-1301 is a Soviet and Ukrainian designed off-road passenger car of a small class, representing the second generation of civilian off-road passenger cars of the Lutsk Automobile Plant. It is the successor of the LuAZ-969 (1302).
Work on the creation of the next LuAZ body after 969 began in the early 1980s (by the same time that the body of the third-generation ZAZ-1102 was formed), by 1984 the first prototype was ready: it had a chassis and an engine from the previous car (969M), later the MeMZ-245 engine was used. In this version, the same type of suspension was put in – a torsion bar. Later, the approach changed: it was decided to use a MacPherson suspension. This version is the one presented in the mod.
