What is Project Variety?

Project Variety is a total conversion mod designed to shake up the gameplay by balancing starting conditions, ensuring no single country dominates each campaign, and opening up exciting opportunities for most nations to rise to the top and claim their moment of glory.

Really important: the focus of the mod is not historical plausibility, but to create a balanced
environment for both singleplayer and multiplayer.

The mod is currently in the Alpha Stage, this means that there is currently no added content outside of Europe, but worry not, as I already have plans for the future.

The game currently runs twice as fast at speed 3, so I strongly suggest to use speed 2 when playing MP.

A big shout out to parzivaltheknight for allowing me add the unconditional_surrender diplomatic action to the mod.

Improved AI:
AI countries are more aggressive, and generally better at managing their countries early on.

Tweaked Economy:
* The base cost of RGOs and age 1 buildings have been reduced to help smaller countries to set up their economy at the game start
* Prices now increase relatively to the size of the economy of a country
