Description:

Hey, Drifters… Well, or Ninjas, on this time.

I’m coming back with a new Ninja-themed mod – New Ninja’s Armor Sets.

It adds new types of armor mainly for ninja. It adds new types of armor, their variations and colors.

My goal was to make models using original meshes and textures, so that it would fit perfectly into the atmosphere and style of the game, and which felt like it could be in a vanilla game.

Known issues:

  • Some types of armor can pass through other armor during specific actions, such as running, stealth, and more.
  • Also, some types of armor can move strangely during animations.

All of these problems, for the most part, came from the original meshes.
Over time, I will try to fix this as I update the mod and add new content.

Community Part Map:

I have implemented mod Community Part Map in my mod.

It corrects the issues with the fact that in some places the character’s body can pass through the clothes.

So I added special versions [S] of bodywears and legwears that only Hivers and Skeletons can wear.

New Items:

The mod adds armor for all slots.

Headgears:

  • Ninja’s Mask;
  • Ninja’s Hood;
  • Ninja’s Mask + Hood.

Bodywears:

  • Ninja’s Robe;
  • Ninja’s Outfit.

Legwears:

  • Ninja’s Pants.

Footwears:

  • Ninja’s Boots.

Most armor has several types and alternative variations that differ visually.

There are also several color variations.

FUNCTIONALLY, they are the same:

  • All the armor is made of fabric and has low protection, as it is all designed for stealth gameplay. But sometimes it can be good for a fight, if you are still noticed.
    (Just like in real life.)

VISUALLY, gives you more variety of armor in the game.

Blueprints And Crafting:

Added blueprints ONLY for the black color variation of Ninja armor:

Headgears:

  • Ninja’s Mask – Type I [Black]
    Value: 1550;
  • Ninja’s Mask – Type II [Black][ALL]
    Value: 1550;
  • Ninja’s Hood [Black]
    Value: 1310;
  • Ninja’s Mask + Hood – Type I [Black]
    Value: 1770;
  • Ninja’s Mask + Hood – Type II [Black][ALL]
    Value: 1770.

Bodywears:

  • Ninja’s Robe [Black]
    Value: 1950;
  • Ninja’s Outfit – Type I [Black][ALL]
    Value: 3177;
  • Ninja’s Outfit – Type II [Black][ALL]
    Value: 3177;
  • Ninja’s Outfit – Type III [Black][ALL]
    Value: 3177.

Legwears:

  • Ninja’s Pants [Black][ALL]
    Value: 2150.

Footwears:

  • Ninja’s Boots [Black]
    Value: 1270.

    Requirements: Clothing Manifacture, Hats and Headgears, Simple Clothing Types.

After you researched the black version of any armor blueprint, a research with its color variations will open in the Research Bench, which you can research and open the crafting of this armor in other colors.

For example: You have bought and researched the "Ninja Boots [Black]" blueprint. After that, the research "Ninja Boots [All Colors]" will be available in the Research Bench".
(And so with any other armor in mod.)

Research not has cost and has minimal time.

All new ninja armor can be crafted on a Clothing Bench.

In the world:

Since the mod is related to the ninja theme, the new armor from the mod will only appear on the ninjas.

NPCs:

  • Black version of Ninja’s armor can be found on Shinobi Thieves and Black Dragon Ninja;
  • Green version of Ninja’s armor can be found on Swamp Ninjas;
  • Sand version of Ninja’s armor can be found on Sand Ninjas;
  • Dark Blue version of Ninja’s armor can be found on Cloud Ninjas.

Vendors:

  • You can buy black ninja armor variations from Shinobi Thieves. The same thing with blueprints;
  • You can buy green armor variations from vendors in the Swamps.

Conflicts with other mods and Game Import:

As with my previous mods, I think there should be no conflicts with other mods due to the unique names of items, etc.

About Game Import:

In order for new ninja armor to appear on NPCs in their shelters (for example, Shinobi Thieves or Black Dragon Ninja, etc.), it is necessary to make Game Import.

All this will also appear in the vendors’ products after the assortment is updated.

I also want to say a special thank you:

  • Mud, for suggesting some points in the FCS settings;
  • -a-r-k- and his mod/resource – Community Part Map. (If the author of this is someone else, I’m sorry!);
  • And to the Kenshi community from the Official Discord Server for the game – Official Kenshi[discord.gg], where I was able to find information about the making and setting of the new armor in FCS.

I’m not allow you to upload my mod to other resources without asking and redo them without my asking. If you have any such ideas, please be sure to discuss it with me.
