>>> This is an updated version of my Better Rome II Compilation working with patch 20. It’s a light version so far meaning not all mods from the patch 19 version are included. More information below.
This is a compilation of many different mods that improve your Rome 2 experience. All of them are updated by the authors or by me to work with patch 20. These mods don’t add units but improve graphic as well as a lot of campaign and battle stuff. Some good unit mods can be found here.
This mod is made for Grand Campaign with patch 20. DLC campaigns might work too but are not tested.

This light version does not contain all features from the patch 19 compilation. The light version does not…
- … contain a faction unlocker. The faction unlocker is updated to work with patch 20, but may receive some future updates in the next weeks. However, you can subscribe to the unlock mod here.
- … change character traits or abilities. TTT is updated for patch 20 but with the ancestral update CA made many changes in these features so you may want to try out the new vanilla content. However, click here if you can’t miss TTT.
- … affect the AI strategy, diplomacy, research and recruitment. News: I’ve recently relaesed an AI improvement mod for patch 20.
- … change faction emblems. So don’t hesitate to use those emblems you like.
The full version is coming soon for patch 20 as a new mod. This light version will remain to give you some choice.
