Reinforcements – Death Guard – New Faction
A new faction for Gladius.
The Deathguard are an infantry focused faction with many ways to spread Nurgle’s blessings across the battlefield.
The main mechanic of this mod is the contagion aura of Death Guard Marines. This aura is used to spread buffs among allies and debuffs among enemies. These buffs and debuffs can be activated with Influence in similar way to the tactics of Space Marines or Sisters of Battle.
Additionally many Death Guard units posses powerful Plague Weapons that can spread diseases to enemies continuing to make them suffer even if they were to retreat.
Death Guard vehicles play a supportive role to the infantry. The Death Guard has many transport vehicles and can research additional traits that strengthen the connection between infantry and transport vehicle.
When playing the Death Guard you are encouraged to spread yourself wide and build many cities. The loyalty cost of additional cities is heavily reduced. But so are the growth rate and production rate of new buildings.

To play the Death Guard you require the Chaos Space Marines DLC.
Additionally the following DLCs add more units to the faction:

For this mod I only repurposed already existing models and assets, so some units might look slightly weird. I’m sorry if this breaks your immersion.
