Description:

Combat Evolved v2.1 – Progressive Wave Balancer

Fewer enemies, but individually stronger. Combat stays intense while keeping performance smooth.
Compatible with all regions and scenarios (Standard, ThawMission/Glacius, Desert, etc.).
Full localization in 10 languages.

Progressive Scaling System

Enemies scale progressively with EventProgress:
– Early game (EP 0-1500): 1-15 enemies, normal strength
– Mid game (EP 1500-3000): 15-40 enemies, +20-100% HP, light armor, slightly bigger
– Late game (EP 3000-5000): 40-80 enemies, x2-4 HP, heavy armor, visibly larger
– Beyond EP 5000: Slow continued growth, no sudden spikes

Adaptive Scenario Detection

– ThawMission + Glacius: Extended progression curve (EP 0-6500)
– All other biomes/scenarios: Standard progression (EP 0-3000)
– Automatic detection, no configuration needed

Difficulty Score System

Game difficulty + Wave difficulty option = Combined score (2-10)
– Score affects HP multiplier, armor, size, and enemy count
– Higher score = fewer but tougher enemies

Enemy Level System (20 levels)

Enemies receive a level prefix (Lv.1 to Lv.20) based on HP scaling.
Health bars change color to reflect power tier:
– Normal (no tint) – base strength
– Green (Hardened) – x1.15+ HP
– Yellow (Veteran) – x1.50+ HP
– Orange (Elite) – x2.00+ HP
– Red (Champion) – x3.00+ HP
– Purple (Nightmare) – x4.00+ HP

Robot Unlock Gating

– G-1000: Always available
– G-2000: EP 700+ (Standard) / EP 1500+ (Glacius)
– G-3000: EP 1200+ (Standard) / EP 2500+ (Glacius)
– Spec Ops: EP 2000+ (Standard) / EP 3500+ (Glacius)

Stagnation Detection

If EP stays unchanged for 5+ years, enemies slowly grow stronger to prevent indefinite stall.

Mod Options

– Max enemies per wave (Insects, Robots, Pests)
– Wave Difficulty: Easy / Medium / Hard / VeryHard / Nightmare
– Console logging toggle

Console Commands

– CE_Status() – Show current scaling and statistics
– CE_Preview(ep) – Preview scaling at any EP value
– CE_ColorTest() – Show color tier reference
– CE_Levels() – Show level tier reference table
