PROLOUGE

After the Allies occupied Germany in 1945, Churchill was concerned about a new threat in Europe, and that it had to be eliminated. This operation was named; "Operation Unthinkable" even though, the proposal was accepted.

Soon after WWII was declared over, the allies launched a massive invasion of the USSR.
USSR, being greatly weakened after the Great Patriotic War, faces another patriotic war that would be considered as a continuiation to WWII, where this would be their demise.
the USA assisted Western Powers with nukes, which affected the Red Army greatly even though they would be outnumbering the west.

Facing internal issues, Minority movements and political instability in the mid-late stages of the war many regions and republics declared sovereignty, the USSR was divided.

In 1950, The Soviet Union faced it’s inevitable collapse.

Japan, on the other hand was holding the upper hand in WWII. They tanked the damage of Hiroshima, and was fast enough to act in Nagasaki.

Soon later, they would soon develop their own nukes as they seized equipment from the fallen B-29.
and counter-attack by dropping a nuclear bomb on Pearl Harbor, Signing a treaty with the US.

CURRENT STATE OF THE WORLD

As of 1962, the world remains at a tense four-way Cold War.

The once great Soviet Union now is nothing but a place full of warlord states that barely manage, some seek unity, some seek survival, some seek nothing but violence and destruction.

East Asia remains under the power of Japan, though there is a new democratic bloc in Oceania, the Eastern Hemisphere Defense Organization.

NATO leans towards more of a nationalist liberty ideology, though they still claim that they are the light of the free world.

Back in Africa, the colonies took the new war in Europe as an opportunity to become independent, however NATO established their order back in 1953 with 2 large mandates, which are established to "stabilize" the region, but their order remains fragile.
Africa is undergoing 2 civil wars, that could significantly change Africa.

Iberia united with a dual leadership government in the means to protect the peninsula if NATO tries to invade or influence them. Lead by Franco and Salazar, this union keeps its colonies in Africa but their authority is fragile.
