Better Ming Dynasty Flag
As we all know, the design of the Ming dragon flag in EU5… is clearly based on the Qing Eight Banners. As a Chinese player, this is simply unacceptable. Based on feedback from the forum, this mod completely redraws the Ming flag. For detailed sources and discussion, please refer to the original forum post.
All dragon flags of the Red Turban factions have been replaced:
Ming Dynasty: Revamped to remove all Eight Banners elements.
Han Song: Based on the Song Dynasty flag from CK3.
Chen Han: Features the widely recognized "Huanghan Flag" design, unlocked in the Age of Absolutism.
Other Red Turban factions: Use recolored variants of the Ming dragon flag.
Regarding the Jurchen Eight Banners
The original EU5 Eight Banners flags for the Jurchen tribes are actually recolored versions of the original Ming flag. This mod does not modify them and preserves the original design.
Compatibility Note:
