Description:
I am the morning sun, come to vanquish this horrible night!

Shanoa from Castlevania Order of Ecclesia arrives into the Rivals of Aether Workshop! As part of the VVizard’s Final Frenzy 2, Shanoa brings powerful Glyphs, which can manifest as deadly weapons, potent elemental attacks and the versatile power of Magnes, which allows Shanoa to fly over the battlefield or turn it into her personal playground!

Special Moves
NSpecial – Magnes:

By using Neutral Special, Shanoa creates a Node, this Node simply sets there and despawns after a while, if you use NSpecial again however, Shanoa creates a magical ring herself and this Node, if this ring touches the Node, Shanoa will be pulled towards the Node’s center! In this new position, you can then move the analog stick to aim Shanoa around the Node, and by releasing the Special button, Shanoa is then launched to the opposite direction! This is an extremely versatile move, allowing Shanoa to chase down opponents, run away from threats or even use this as her main recovery method!
This is also your main Recovery move! You can manually despawn the Node and spawn a new one at your location by pressing Special + Shield, just make sure you can do this by checking the Node Icon on her HUD

FSpecial – Redire:

Shanoa throws a boomerang-like projectile, which circles around herself first before flying diagonally forward. This projectile can not only deal multiple hits, but it also leaves a Node at the end of its trajectory, but that’s not all…
The Redire is carrying a Node the entire time, meaning you can use FSpecial and immediately use NSpecial, catching a ride on the Redire using Magnes! You can even launch yourself during the flight!

USpecial – Ascia:

Also known as the classic Axe Throw, Shanoa throws an axe upwards, which flies in an arc, you can of course angle this throw as well. When using this attack in the air, Shanoa gains a small vertical boost, however there’s a lot more to this attack than it meets the eye…
After throwing an Axe, if you use NSpecial, you’ll notice that the Axe also has a magical ring of its own, meaning you can throw an Axe at a Node and use NSpecial to magnetize the Axe to the Node! Allowing you to toss out this powerful axe in any direction with a considerable amount of speed!

DSpecial – Glyph Sleeve:

You may notice a small letter on Shanoa’s HUD, that is her currently equipped Glyph Sleeve! Each time you use Down Special, Shanoa automatically cycles to the next letter/sleeve, for a total of 3 unique attacks!
A – Vol Grando: Shanoa throws a small projectile diagonally upwards, which falls rather quickly, when this projectile comes into contact with a surface or another player, it creates various Icy Shards, trapping anyone hit by into into a second hit, ideal for follow-ups and combos!
B – Vol Ignis: Like the previous one, Shanoa throws a small projectile which, when in contact with a surface or another player, it bursts into flames! Creating a tall fiery pillar, dealing multiple hits to anyone caught amidst its flames!
C – Gale: Unlike the previous versions, this projectile is immediately active, Shanoa throws a gust of wind forward, carrying with it anyone caught in its path, ideal for leading enemies right into a powerful punish!

Other Notable Moves:
FStrong – Glyph Union:

Shanoa swings an elemental sword forward, the properties and elements actually changing depending on the Glyph Sleeve currently equipped!
The Ice version is the biggest and strongest, but also the slowest. The Fire version sports amazing damage thanks to its powerful multiple hits! The Wind version is by far the fastest one, although it only deals a small amount of damage and set knockback

Down Tilt: Lizard Tail

A sliding attack. Auto-canceled during active frames if Shanoa slides off a ledge.

Down Air: Divekick

A shared technique amongst some of the Castlevania protagonists. This works very similarly to Belmont DAir in SSBU, with a powerful spike at the start and sending up and out otherwise. You can also DAir off enemy projectiles and even your own Node!
shhhhhh we didn’t just repurposed these from Soma lol
