Description:

Adds a ranged magical missile attack to magical non-combat focused heroes. You can unlock improved explosive damage as you level up, allowing the magical missiles to rival bombardment spells at the higher levels.

— OVERVIEW —
  • Adds AOE explosive missiles for Dark Elf Sorcerers, High Elf Mages, Cathay Alchemist | Astromancers, Empire Wizards, Ogre Butchers | Firebellies
  • Adds guided multi-shot missiles for Dwarf Runesmiths, Vampire Fleet Captains, Bloodreapers | Plagueridden | Alluress | Iridescent Horrors, Tomb Kings Liche Priests
  • Adds short range scatter shot for Lizardmen Skink Priest | Skink Oracles, Chaos Sorcerers, Vampire Necromancers | Vampires, Orc | Night Goblin Shamans, Chaos Dwarf Sorcerers
  • Long range single shot for Bretonnia Damsels, Wood Elf Spellsingers, Norsca Shaman Sorcerers and Beastmen Bray Shamans
  • Triple shot anti-single entity shot for Skaven Plague Priests, Eshin Sorcerers
  • Adds 2 new skills (6 points total) for boosting the damage of the missile attack, available at level 4 and every 7 levels subsequently. At the higher levels, you will really feel the power of the missiles.
  • The respective recruitment buildings have been upgraded so you can have more heroes earlier and embrace the colourful magic missiles.
  • Dragon mounts for High Elf Mage (sun, moon, star), Dark Elf Sorcerers (black), Empire Wizards (some lores, carmine), Chaos Sorcerers (chaos), Vampire Necromancers (zombie). Spider mount for Goblin Shamans.

NO!!!

You should feel rewarded with powerful attacks for training up the hero to high level.

— COMPATIBILITY —

This mod modifies the skills, land_unit, building_effects_junction_tables for hero affected heroes’ building, and adds projectile and explosions for said heroes. Should be compatible with most mods that does not modify the above-mentioned items. The location of the magic missile skills in UI was selected to minimise potential clashes with some popular hero skill mods, though I do not guarantee compatibility.

If you are concerned about race-specific/mod specific compatibility, safer to use the individual races’ files list below instead of this compilation
