Description:
For when you don’t like what the AI calls China

Don’t you hate it when the AI reunites China after an era of division, only for it to not retain the realm name it originally used as it unified the Middle Kingdom? Or that every nomad who conquers China calls itself the Yuan (even the Great Liao!)? Or just don’t vibe with the new name in general?

This mod aims to address this by allowing you to rename (and recolour) China through a decision, even if you don’t sit on the Dragon Throne. Great for role-playing purposes.

Note

The name-changing event from this mod does not retroactively change the realm name for a particular dynasty, so for example if you change the Song’s name to something else, the previous rulers will still use the Song name in the title history. Also, you may need to wait a few ticks for everything about the name change to fully take effect.

Also did you know All Under Heaven launched with 30 unused dynasty names

Wild. These thirty names are localized by Paradox but never implemented with a trigger for the game to suggest to you or the AI. There is an alternate event that pulls out this namelist if you wish to use them yourself.

Compatibility

The mod does not touch anything from vanilla, so it should be compatible with most mods and future CK3 updates.

Language Support

Only English is supported.
