Leman ”Jose” Alphonss
A combat medic who can patch you up… and put you down just as easily. “Jose” earned his nickname for reasons nobody remembers, but his aim—especially for kneecaps—is legendary. Once a top military sniper, he still shoots like one, though these days he prefers to drop enemies to the ground before sweeping the area with his meticulously modded rifle.
He wasn’t even on a mission when he got caught in the aftermath of the “Blast” incident. Jose was in Legion territory, gathering medicinal herbs at Thor’s request, when abandoned explosives and powder triggered a chain reaction. The world went white, then deafening—he dove behind a rusting armored vehicle left over from Grand Chien’s old wars.
When the dust settled, the place was half-dead. Wounded terrorists screamed for help, but Jose’s oath doesn’t extend to saving them. Instead, he did what any sensible merc would do—scavenged. Armor-piercing rounds, grenades, old body armor, Metaviron (no easy thing to make in wartime)… and a battered RPG-7.
His back isn’t what it used to be, and brute force isn’t his game anymore. But with the right tools—and the right pay—Jose can still carry more than his share. And he never misses the shot that matters.
