Byzantine Themes
This mod adds 2 new mechanics to Byzantium.
1: Porphyrogenetus Nomimotes
This is a scale in the government section which rates your leader’s legitimacy. Leaders born to the existing monarch will have a "Born in the purple" modifier that makes them gain legitimacy. If they are a usurper, they will have a modifier to lose legitimacy. This scales with bonuses and also causes rebels to revolt regularly at a lower level.
2: Themes
Themes are off-map vassals which can raise troops during wars and rebellions. They are linked to owned states so if the states are lost, the vassal is also lost. They are all based on historical themes.
