Alani Spear Units
The Alans lack defensive heavy infantry that prevents them from using anvil and hammer tactic. This mod gives the Alans two defensive spear infantry units. They are very weak offensive units but makes up with overwhelming melee defense stats (highest in the game). Their purpose is to hold down the enemies while you flank them with the already powerful Sarmatian shock cavalry units from their roster. Don’t expect them to stomp enemies in 1 vs 1.
