EU4 Tickspeed
NOTE: More tick speeds were added (7) in the latest update, 1.1, so this mod should not be needed, nor would really makes sense. If you want this mod’s option 3 tick speed, set the new patch tick speed to 5/7.
The current tick speed options either make the game drag on much more than it needs to, or cause the game to go far to fast. This mod increases all tick speed options go at the same rate as the EU4 equivalent, for more consistency.
As an example for what it does, at speed 3, for EU4 it takes 15 seconds for a month to pass. However, in EU5 it would instead take 33 seconds for a month to pass in base game. This mod changes that to be 15 seconds in EU5 as well.
DISCLAIMER – This does not do any difference at speed 5. If you play at speed 5 and want the game to go faster, you either need to get a better PC, or try out a daily ticks mod, like this one: https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3601143554
