Hunt Down The Freeman 2016 Character Pack
In 2016, a demo of a much earlier version of Hunt Down The Freeman was released to stir up interest for the game. When compared to the final retail version, the demo has many differences such as level design, music, characters, and voice actors. However, the general premise of a former HECU marine from the Black Mesa incident wishing to seek revenge on Gordon Freeman was carried over to the final product.
The demo stars American businessman, investor, author, and former U.S. HECU Marine Captain Morgan Mitchell as he hunts down John Freeman: a man responsible for the deaths of Morgan’s fellow marines and the attack that hospitalized Morgan.

Morgan Mitchell
Morgan was once an HECU marine during the Black Mesa incident. While angered over the loss of his fellow marines at the hands of John Freeman, Morgan was also attacked by the John Freeman’s brother and his crowbar. Morgan later awoke in a hospital, only to find that the doctors who treated him were dead. He would then survive through the Seven Hour War.

Former terrorist warlord, credited with the Red Square bombing of 1999. He was one of Morgan Mitchell’s right hand men alongside Oscar.

Masked goons that Morgan has to take out in order to find Mr. John Freeman.

Comprised of former child workers from a City 9 Cremator Factory, this is Mitchell’s personal militia.

During the Seven Hour War none of these National Guardsmen showed up to their posts since they were weekend soldiers. (The Seven Hour War took place on a Monday)

They were taking care of Mitchell before all of them got whacked by Combine forces.
