Description:

Songs of steel is a complete medieval overhaul focusing on mid to late 14th century Europe. I attempted to remove all aspects of fantasy however there’s bound to be things I’ve missed, so please let me know if you find anything regardless of how small.

Your citizens now visually wear the equipment they have equipped… no more naked citizens claiming to wear clothing or armor. There’s a lot of randomization, no more uniformity! Citizens have a variety of randomized items that are shown when equipped including jewelry, armor, clothing and capes.

  • All animals have their respective pastures
  • Root vegetable farm
  • Cheesemaker, processes goat milk into cheese
  • Handgonne Workshop
  • Bombard (Artillery)
  • Drawbridge and Palisade gate that you see in the preview images

    • Windmills? if i can get them to animate then possibly
    • Add a wooden stairs option for aesthetic choice
    • Lower the price for mercenaries?
    • Overhaul / Rename the current disease’s
    • Would like to add a guard tower like building
    • More planned after V71 drops and is stable

    COMPATABILITY

    This mod likely wont be compatible with any other overhaul mods.
    Also very likely isnt compatible with additional modded races.
    I would also stay away from anything that references resources or equipment that has been removed as the possibility for them to conflict is significantly higher.
    Quality of life mods should be perfectly fine.
    There is a discussion with a few compatible/incompatible mods to look through before you add any other mods.

    NOTICE

    This mod is still a work in progress…With that being said alot of time and effort has been put into this and ive still got alot of work to do untill its where i want it to be, please be patient as my schedule isnt very hobby friendly.
    Dont hesitate to suggest things youd like to see added or changed.
