This is a submod for Extended Timeline

Recomended DLC’s (but NOT required):
-Domination
-King of Kings

Basically, I found this outdated mod called !Extended Timeline Expanded, that has some pretty well-made events for the Crusades.

I updated the files, so now you can play through the First, Second, Third and Fourth Crusade. I also made some new events and changed many descriptions in the localization, to make them more immersive.

Plus I made from scratch (based on the og mod of course) the Egyptian Crusade of the Byzantines (1169), the Fifth, Sixth and Seventh Crusade, and the Crusade of Varna in 1443, just before the starting date of vanilla EUIV. So now you can also play through the three Crusades of the 13th century, "the Last Crusade" and the Byzantine Egyptian Campaign

I also added some alternate history events (particularly in the Egyptian Campaign, the Fourth and Seventh Crusade and the Crusade of Varna) that hopefully will make the playthrough more dynamic and immersive.

I also added the Porphyrogenetus Nomimotes mechanic for Byzantium, from the mod "Byzantine Themes"

Lastly, I added various music tracks for immersion and changed the country name of Byzantium to Rhomania (historically accurate) and its flag.

1095: The Council of Piacenza (where Alexios Komnenos sent envoys to request help from the Pope) First Crusade
1145: Second Crusade
1168: The Crusade of the Byzantines and the Kingdom of Jerusalem against Egypt
1187: Siege of Jerusalem and Third Crusade
1202: Fourth Crusade
1213: Fifth Crusade
1226: Sixth Crusade
1247: Seventh Crusade
1443: Crusade of Varna
