DDG Kongo-Class Guided Missile Destroyer
The Kongō-class destroyers are missile destroyers of the Japan Maritime Self-Defense Force (JMSDF) equipped with the Aegis combat system, built by the JMSDF in 1988 to enhance air defense capabilities. Before the Atago-class destroyers entered service in 2007, they were the largest warships by displacement in the JMSDF.
The Kongō-class design is basically the same as the U.S. Arleigh Burke-class Flight I destroyers, but with a larger superstructure, the lightweight cross mast of the Burke class was replaced with the JMSDF’s traditional heavy quad mast. This is the main visual difference between the Kongō-class and the Arleigh Burke-class Flight I. In accordance with Japan’s pacifist constitution, these ships are still referred to as "escort ships" in Japan and are not equipped with Tomahawk cruise missiles for land attack.
A total of four Kongō-class ships were built, making them among the earliest ships in the world to be equipped with the Aegis system aside from the U.S. Navy. Within the JMSDF escort fleet, each escort squadron is assigned one Kongō-class ship, making them the primary air defense vessels of the JMSDF.

This ship model is based on the game Wargame: Red Dragon. Considering the quality of the Eugen model, the appearance and equipment of this ship differ from the actual DDG173 “Kongo” , so a hull number is not included . I feel like the model of this ship that Eugen made is unbelievably inaccurate ,it left me puzzled for several days after researching.
