STORY:
A dangerous and well known drug organisation has been secretly working on a protein strand that is capable of changing the chemical properties of certain substances through biological evolution. Their plan was to insert the prion into different types of drugs in order to increase their addictiveness and therefore also sales. Unfortunately for them and the rest of humainty, a prototype prion without safety mechanisms in place has escaped the lab and infected some marijuana. A worker at the organisation smoked the cannabis and became the first addict to one of the new prion enhanced drugs. The prion itself is quickly destroyed upon entering the body of a human but can survive, multiply and easily spread within a lot of chemical and natural drugs. The prion is rather slow when it comes to getting people addicted because it first has to infect certain drugs which then need to be consumend by humans. Evolve your prion, have it infect almost all drugs on the planet, get all of humanity addicted and then either let them overdose or maybe even make them happy with some incredible euphoria.
NOTES:
-This scenario is not supposed to encourage or discourage the use of drugs. Do whatever you want, as long as you take responsibility and don´t overdo it.
-Negative symptoms very slightly reduce infectivity because they discourage people to further consume the ehanced drugs. Lethal symptoms noticibly reduce infectivity because many people are scared of further consumption. Regular symptoms still help effectiveness in certain enviroments, despite the slight reduction in infectivity.
-If you are having problems, I recommend using the catalytic switch gene unless you are going for a certain secret ending.
