The Nervii did not reject Rome’s gold out of ignorance, but out of a terrifyingly calm, focused presence of mind. While other tribes adorned themselves in golden trinkets and indulged in wine, the Nervii invested in the forge. Wealth was not worn — it was hammered into mail and sharpened into blades.
In the shadows of the Ardennes, they traded indulgence for serenity and vanity for survival. They do not march to the frantic beat of drums or the shouted commands of centurions. They breathe as one. And when they advance, they do so with composed ferocity — a silent tide of men who know every face beside them.
When the silence breaks, it is not with a boast of glory, but with a single cry: “Gráaaa!” A paradox of war — a raw oath made flesh. A sacred duty of protection. For a Nervian, the line is not held for a golden eagle; it is held for the brother to the left and the family in the woods behind them.
Iron replaces ornament. Composure replaces chaos. And every warrior stands equipped with the greatest possible chance to survive — because a living brother is worth more than a fallen hero.

Installation & Compatibility
– Place this submod above the DeI pack files in your mod manager.
> place it all the way on top of everything in case the homescreen image does not change
(f.i. tiny city’s changes celtic homescreen as well)
* Units are available for grand campaign and Caesar in Gaul campaign
* For now I keep the units at lv 2 barracks and stables & 2nd tier population class (pagi).
Once there are some more units I’ll move some of them to different building levels and population classes.
