IADS Coordinator

Server-side mod that coordinates AI SAM sites so they stop dumping every missile they have at one helicopter. Instead of every battery on the map panic-firing at the first contact, the IADS assigns targets intelligently and prevents wasted engagements.

This mod is not perfect, and will fail at times. But, it is better then vanilla. Additionally, performance will decerease the more targets that are in the air.

Features
– Layered defense doctrine — long range systems fire first, medium range fills gaps, SHORAD covers close-in
– Tracks engagements across all AI air defense assets to prevent multiple SAMs wasting missiles on the same target
– Ammo conservation — SAMs manage their loadout instead of going Winchester in the first 5 minutes
– Mixed weapon systems handled properly — a Tunguska will use missiles at range and fall back to guns when they’re out
– Multi-target capable systems (VLS, etc.) can engage several aircraft simultaneously
– Automatic detection and registration of all AI-crewed AA assets on mission start
– Diplomacy-aware — respects faction allegiances and won’t engage friendlies

Compatibility
– Works with vanilla, RHS, CUP, and any mod that uses standard CfgAmmo configs, no per-mod compatibility required
– Server-side only — no client download required
– Requires CBA A3

Configuration
All settings available through CBA Settings. Exclude specific vehicles by classname, variable name, or per-unit init field. Debug mode available with 3D visualization of SAM coverage and engagement status.
