Description:

TREX
(Tech Replacement Experience)

….. what? That’s the mod. That’s it. What, did you expect an actual description?….well ok ill give it. No i dont know why the original mod had litteerally no description ever.

TREX (Tech Replacement Experience) is a mod that intends on being the answer to the question: Wtf do you do with all your credits when you buy all the funny blueprints? The answer: You buy more blueprints, to get more blueprints.

Each TREX blueprint upgrade (Lv 1-5) increases the ability of the weapon who’s blueprint you purchase. It’s basicly tiered parts but it’s all roof turrets and the thrusters only work with its own respective engine room and have no funny backblast

Well ok not really, each part added in TREX is kind of a roof turret and yet is actually rather unique in its own existance

The TREX varient laser blasters (Heavy and normal) are able to buff each other. The normal TREX version can both buff itself and the heavy version via touching rooms, and the heavy will only be buffed by normal TREX laser blasters.

The TREX disrupter is a turret disrupter…Thats litterally it. It looks cool at least.

The TREX point defense is basicly a turreted version of itself. Level 4 and up have the ability to also shoot at laser bolts.

The TREX mining laser is a mining laser. Big surprise isnt it.

The TREX Standard cannon can actually switch to a incindary type bullet. It deals 60% less damage, but deals 100% burnenation for all it pierces into.

The TREX Large cannon is a large cannon…yep. that’s it. That’s the joke.

The TREX Deck cannon is basicly a deck cannon but better. Big woop.

The TREX Launcher stacks missiles per missile. The bigger number the more missiles that are loaded per part per part of part with part. Unless it’s thermal missiles in which case SHHHH IM WORKING ON IT (I completelyt forgot they existed)

The TREX railgun is something else entirely. Due to the nature of the TREX parts, this thing is a actual bloody turret. You instead build additional railgun power units connected to the side of the railgun. This does indirectly enforces a limit of empowerment…but cmon, its a TURRETED RAILGUN. YOU ANT GOIN TO PUT THAT AT THE VERY FRONT WITH NO ARMOR AREE YA?…RIGHT?????????

The Trex Chaingun is a chaingun. BUT ITS A TURRET. Big surprise right? The fun part is the loader. Can always be loaded and can have it’s storage increased.

The performance of each blueprint level is dependent on the default part each TREX blueprint is of.

LV1 – 50%
LV2 – 75%
LV3 – 100%
LV4 – 125%
LV5 – 150%

Do note that each level increases everything about a blueprint, everything except size.

You hate the values of each level? GO CHANGE IT YOURSELF! INTRODUCING: The Para.rules file.

The Para.rules file (.Rules file can be edited by any type of text editing software. Notepad can be used even) holds the direct values of each specific technology.
