Liu Bei pays more unit upkeep (early game)
Liu Bei pays more unit upkeep until he reaches the rank of Duke.(rank4) Works on both Human and AI.
Rank 1 Noble: Pay 25% more upkeep
Rank 2 Second Maquis: Pay 20% more upkeep
Rank 3 Maquis: Pay 15% more upkeep
Rank 4 Duke and higher: Pay normal upkeep
Why?
Because AI Liu Bei pays literally 0 upkeep on his militia units. This should prevent that from happening. Or at least make them pay more for non militia units so it evens out.
It should help prevent AI Liu Bei, who’s supposed be struggling early on, from roaming around beating Cao Cao and Yuan Shu. Also add more challenge to the player.
