The Rupture is a shield tanked Battleship that features a big central space for heavy weapons, to allow for precise and concentrated fire. It does have a steel hull that is internally supported by a lot of xeno armor. A lot of the xeno is thin blocks, to keep the weight down and still profit from the xeno shield capacity bonus. While the front is somewhat armored and also includes additional options for decoy cannons, this ship should never be used as an armor tank (i.e. without shield). The Armor it has is mostly intended to catch shield penetrating fire.
The ship is heavily upgradeable and should be able to satisfy even full end game cpu amounts. Stock layout is set up so it doesn’t get too expensive – if you have all the materials you may want to do some optimisations right away (e.g. change the generators to a small fusion). Stock mobility is mediocre, but can be upgraded a lot.

It does also include a medium sized Hangar and a module dock for an Astra module.

This ship also is heavy on RP, including crew facilities you might expect on a ship that´s built to travel the stars on its own for extended time periods.
