A mod for the Yomi Legends Mod Jam, with the theme of "Leader"

Broodhammer is an Extraterrestrial Eldritch Creature which conceals itself in a massive High-Tech Hammer. She is able to lay eggs which hatch into various minions to carry out her bidding. While she is immobile by herself inside the hammer, her alien partner is always at her side to carry and wield her shell to utilise her full power!

Gameplay description:

Broodhammer is a summoner character, centered around her minions. Using the “Summon Egg” move, you can launch eggs which can be hatched into different minion types using Broodhammer’s Extra UI. The minions can later be sacrificed, which will provide you with an Attribute of the minion’s type.

When you have both Attribute slots filled, you’ll gain access to the “Summon Hybrid” move. The move summons a more powerful minion by consuming the Attributes. Different combinations of Attributes will summon different minions. These minions are also controlled using the Extra UI, starting in an Idle form, and allowing you to switch at will into an Active form and also sacrifice it (though the Hybrids do not provide Attributes when sacrificed.)

Because the Hammer is heavy, the alien who carries it cannot turn it around immediately. Broodhammer’s facing does not change automatically. Instead, you must use the Spin or Pivot toggles in order to turn around, which will add a small delay to the next move.

Minions:

Basic minions (Summon Egg):
Attack – After hatching, the minion walks towards the opponent, periodically performing a melee attack.
Flying – After hatching, the minion circles in the air around the point where it was hatched, constantly dealing damage if touched.
Defense – After hatching, the minion will walk towards the closest other minion and attach itself to it. Protects the attached minion from a single hit.

Hybrid minions (Symmon Hybrid):

Attack/Attack – In its idle state, tries to stay at a constant distance from the opponent. After activating, it will repeatedly perform a dash attack towards the opponent.
Attack/Flying – In its idle state, flies in the air staying in the same position relative to Broodhammer. After activating, it will repeatedly fly toward the opponent to attack them, before dying after some time.
Attack/Defense – In its idle state, tries to stay next to Broodhammer. When hit, it will curl up into a ball, bouncing off the ground. After activating, it will stay in its ball form and release spikes, causing it to hurt anyone it hits (even Broodhammer.)
Flying/Flying – In its idle state, flies in the air staying in the same position relative to Broodhammer. After activating, it attaches itself to Broodhammer, lowering friction and gravity and giving an extra air option. After some time, it sacrifices itself.
Flying/Defense – In its idle state, flies in the air staying in the same position relative to Broodhammer and consumes nearby minions, protecting them inside itself. Once activated, it will fly forward, and when it dies or is sacrificed, it will release the minions that it stored.
Defense/Defense – In its idle states, constantly walks forward. After activating, it will stay in place turning into a one-sided wall that stops the opponent from passing. Hitting it from the side of the wall will only make it lower itself before recovering.

Other Important and Mechanics:
Specials:
Summon Goop: – Throw out a goo ball that creates a sticky goop carpet when hitting the ground. Sticky goop inhibits opponent movement as long as theyre standing in the goop
Paralyze: – Hitgrab attack that applies the "Paralysis" Status effect to the opponent. The next time you land an attack, the hitlag of said attack is greatly extended allowing for better combos.
Bite: – Temporarily grants the "Locked" state to one of your attribute slots, causing in it not bein consumed when using Summon Hybrid. can be gained a second time to lock both slots. New attributes can still be loaded into locked slots.
Lever: evasic attack which leaps over horizontal pokes. Broodhammer is considered Aerial during this attack.

Supers:
Evolve: instaltly grants two charges of either the Attack, Defence or Flight attribute depending on which is selected.
Backblast: Reversal super to get out of dangerous situations.
