Description:
These SNPCs requires DrGBase for work

Addon Requested by: Joelías_N1

When I was 9 years old (in 2014), at the end of the year, I saw the first Five Nights at Freddy’s video I’d ever seen. When the guy playing it said the game was made by one person, something clicked in my mind: "If one person could make their game, I can make mine too." So, a week later, I asked my dad if he could download a game engine. My dad downloaded Blender on the computer (at that time, Blender Game Engine still existed), and I started making this game, "Toy Zombies." It went through many prototypes, and by 2019, I had left it gathering dust. You all know me now for Trevor Henderson’s monsters, and some more recent ones like Smiley. But I want you to know something (especially for those who expect certain mods): I make mods because I enjoy it. Sometimes I get commissions, and I do them, but if I publish something on the Workshop, it’s because I want to deliver something I’m truly passionate about. When I returned to making this game last year, I loved developing it, but the process was very painful. I really want it to be worth it, and I’ll definitely tell you more about the development once the game is released. The game is 100% complete, it already had a closed beta, and I might add some extra features before launch (if you have any suggestions, you can leave them in the comments; I’ll see if I can add more details).

Toy Zombies release date: March 13th 2026

I had an idea:
-If we reach 10k downloads before launch i release the other Toy Zombies in the moment we reach that
-if we reach 50k downloads I’ll launch the game before the release date

Information about the code

-Like the Smiley, the Toy Zombies use their own system to organize the code; this is much faster, since making calls from an external module was quite cumbersome once you had a large number of them on the map.

-They are fully configurable; you can try different options within the "Joelías_N1" and "Toy Zombies" tabs.

-These NPCs are best suited for multipurpose use; they can be used for survival horror, chasing nextbots, multiplayer, Lambda players, and NPC fights.

-They contain a LOD system for the code, making them more efficient when dealing with a large number of them on the map. (This system was originally ported from the game.)

-They were among the most uniquely complex NPCs to create. Although they appear "basic" and lack particle effects, their behavior and playstyle are so different from the average Garry’s Mod NPC that porting them correctly was quite frustrating. One detail that’s only noticeable if you’re playing stealthily is that they can mark you when they hear you (they don’t directly chase you unless you make a lot of noise or are very visible). When you do this, they’ll always look for any hiding places you might have.

-They’re not extremely OP unless you decide they are.

-There are many more on the way that are already complete, however, I don’t want to upload them now so as not to spoil the final game.

Stalk (Corner) System:
In gmod, Stalkers generally look for a HidingSpot to give the effect of hiding behind a wall, or they can teleport behind the player’s line of sight. In this case, the Toy Zombies calculate the player’s eyepos and from there look for the optimal corner to peek out (to scare them you must shine the flashlight on them).

Revive System:
Obviously, they couldn’t be called Toy Zombies if they didn’t have the ability to revive. This one respects the custom factions, so there’s no problem with respawning. I did add a small detail where the ragdoll trembles occasionally, so why not kill one and leave it at your friend’s house? It would be a great birthday present.

Custom HUD (for Player and THEM):
Player Noise HUD:
This effect will let the player know the direction of the nearest Toy Zombie. It comes with an ambient system, so you’ll notice its presence as soon as you feel a heavy atmosphere around you.

Possession HUD:
By possessing them, you can see the enemy NPC who made noise behind a wall.

Custom Corpses:
Depending on which toy zombie kills you, it may leave behind a corpse that shows how you died.

Improvements in movement:
Ignore LambdaPlayers by using NoClip behind a wall to avoid FPS drops (if possible). Also, try to crouch when possible (only for Toy Zombies with this ability, and only if the navmesh connects to that area).

Target/Mark enemy (Sound Detection):
If you make too much noise, the Toy Zombies can mark you; however, if they don’t mark you for a certain amount of time during a chase, you can escape from them.

Basic Nextbot setting (for full optimization):
This option is used to disable as many features as possible, so that the NPC consumes very few resources, or if you want complete control over them.

Unique Skills for all of them:
You’ll have to play with them and see what makes them special; each one has a unique feature in their personality, attack style, and behavior.

New Corpse Playermodel:
Yes other thing this pack adds a playermodel with the citizen and combine variant too lol.
