[TFA] Sven Co-op Reimagined Release SWEPs

Description:

This is a fully edited and reimagining of the Sven Co-op TFA Weapon Packs that have long existed in the Garry’s Mod workshop since 2019 or so.

The reason this TFA addon exists is because I seriously thought to myself that these Sven Co-op weapons deserved to be fixed since overtime they really started to show their age and how the crowbars completely broke, and overall the weapons were not really vanilla feeling at all, plus lacked quite a bit of consistency between each other view model wise, and even had the wrong SFX such as the M249 sounding wrong and not like the Opposing Force M249/Sven 5.0.

This addon not only fixes that, but also fixes the viewmodels, recoil, spread patterns, removing ADS (but also readding it for the Reimagined category), adding GoldSrc muzzleflashes from Half-Life and Sven Co-op, increasing the damage values to work better in firefights, fixing the crowbar, and more that can be found inside the patch notes.

Please keep in mind this is solely done out of passion!

I’ve credited everyone who was related to these addons below in the description, without them this addon wouldn’t have existed.

Weapons included inside TFA Sven Co-op

Ingame, you’ll find 5 different categories

[TFA] Sven Co-op
[TFA] Sven Co-op: They Hunger
[TFA] Sven Co-op Classic Mode
[TFA] Sven Co-op Experimental
[TFA] Sven Co-op Reimagined
Reimagined category specifically has already existing Sven Co-op weapons, but the difference being it utilizes the TFA Muzzleflashes, has CS 1.6-like viewmodels, and you can aim down sights (ADS support) with the weapons, including iron sight support.
Attachments are currently not supported

Please note, the weapons that are currently missing are the following:

Wrench, Knife, Barnacle Grapple, Dual Uzi’s, Sven Co-op Crossbow (not Half-Life’s), Gluon Gun, Hivehand, Grenade, Satchel, Tripmine, Snarks, Displacer Cannon, Spore Launcher, Shock Roach and the Tesla Gun (from They Hunger)

These will be added in the future whenever time will come for each of them.
This weapon pack will replace your default Half-Life 2 flashlight and explosion sounds to a more Half-Life/GoldSrc-esque sound effects.

Optionally, you can use these HEV hands that are similar if not the same as Sven Co-op.

Project was made out of passion, and because I wanted to fix up and add some new stuff to TFA Sven Co-op, while it’s nowhere near perfect, it’s made with love for the Sven Co-op community and Garry’s Mod :>
