– Added a Deforestation cabinet action for a single location and one for a province. (Player only, of course)
- Takes 3 or 9 months (Location or Province)
- Run on Jungle, Forest, or Woods vegetation types.
- Once complete it will dump a one-time load of wood into the local market scaled to the vegetation type. Jungle being the most (at 2k).
- Adds location modifiers that try to reverse the negatives of the heavy vegetation.
- IF a Deforested location is a Lumber RGO, the action CHANGES the RGO to a one of several options it can randomly select.
- Action does drop location prosperity. Understandable.
I tried everything I could possibly think of to actually CHANGE the vegetation of a location but there is simply NO way of doing it.
We need this, effects on the environment is kind of our thing, being able to represent that in-game would be nice.
There is currently no way to reverse this action. Reforestation would be fairly straight forward if there was interest or its commissioned.
One known superficial bug with the Location version: after a month the little icon jumps to the province capital, I could find no way to prevent this. It does not change the target, just where the icon appears.
Gold, Silver, or Gems are NOT included in the list of possible RGO replacements. Wheat & Sturdy Grain are about 50% of the odds combined.

I was completely overwhelmed when trying to learn this game as there are 20 different things demanding my attention all the time.
So if you are feeling this too, then this mod is for you.
All my custom cabinet actions have "FG" in the name, so it’s easy to search-limit the list.
This mod mainly adds Cabinet Actions that only the Player can use.
These are very OP actions that make some aspect of the game trivially easy. Convert culture, religion, integration, etc very quickly.
The ultimate "Help! My country is about to collapse!" option is the "Strengthen Govenernment FG" action. This is so over-powered it’s almost funny.
There are options for population growth, development, colonizing, promoting, stability, institutions, even one you can use to grow a province of a subject.
As I’ve said, these are only available to the player with 3 exceptions:
Convert Culture (Area and Province), Convert Religion, and Integration (Area and Province)
These are also available to a players subjects as well. The subject should prefer these options over vanilla, let me know if they don’t.
Be VERY VERY careful with the development and population growth options, it does NOT take long to max out all locations.
Why Cabinet Actions and not some other mod already on the workshop?
- First I wanted to learn how to mod the game, as a modder it’s my nature.
- Second I wanted a way I could easily add and remove a buff as I need it. I am trying to learn the game.
- Third I wanted to ensure I tightly control WHO has access to use them. Allowing the use by an AI controlled France would be catastrophically bad.
Lastly this mod also adds player-only researchable advances in every age that add Local and Naval Governor max counts.
I included a new Colonial version of these that are buildable ‘overseas’, however the game determines that. Dominate and control every continent in style.
