Fixed Frame Window

When upgrading from a vanilla window, be sure to close the window. Upgrading to a mod window with the window open may cause the window to become transparent. If this happens, I apologize for the inconvenience, but please dismantle that window and try to build it again. Thanks to Jaggid Edje for reporting this issue.

Add three new window types. This window can’t open/close. The fixed frame window passes through the light and loses the heat of the room from the window glass. However, unlike regular windows that can be opened and closed, it will be possible to install shelves, freezers, workbenches, etc. adjacent to the window.

It will be able to build once you have completed the "Construction basics" research. New windows have been added to Small Windows, Windows, and Tall Windows in the Housing tab.

Description: Metal Insulated Windows allow daylight to pass through while the thermal blinds are open. Thermal blinds save heat loss in the room while they are closed.
