One year after the fall of the Northwest Airfield, the nation of Chernarus lies in ruins. The Chernarus Defense Force has crumbled, its main elements retreating across the border after suffering catastrophic losses. What remains is a scattered pocket of exhausted soldiers—stranded, outnumbered, and surrounded by death.
You are one of them.
Travel south through the infected heart of Chernarus. Search for anything that can help your surviving comrades:
Weapons and ammunition
Medical supplies
Fuel and functioning vehicles
Allied survivors
Information on evacuation routes or possible safe zones
When the infection swept across Chernarus, the collapse was swift. Civilian militias fractured into renegade factions, looters took control of abandoned settlements, and relentless hordes of infected swarmed the countryside.
The final stand at the Northwest Airfield bought time for evacuation but destroyed the CDF. Now, only a small group of survivors endures in the forests of northern Chernarus.
