Beauty is not always an advantage when associated with other people’s power just as young age friendship is no guarantee for a life-lasting close relationship: Jessica is now her rival, Alejandro has a life of his own, the big mob boss perished during a big mob war and the only thing she truly has right now if the same beauty that won her beauty pageants for as long as she can remember and some pretty good tailoring skills, since she had her own fashion line.
