Jelcz 640 – heavy duty truck with 6×4 chassis manufactured in the years 1973-1987 in the motor works in the city of Jelcz, as part of the 400/600 range. The vehicle is based on Steyer technology. It was mostly aimed for construction (dumptruck, concrete mixer), and forestry use.
642 is an modernised version, manufactured in the years 1987-2004
