Tzeva Adom — Israel’s Rocket Alert System

Tzeva Adom (צבע אדום — "Red Color") brings Israel’s real-life rocket warning system to Arma 3. Powered by the ELM-2084 Multi-Mission Radar, the system detects incoming threats in real time and broadcasts the authentic Red Alert siren to all players in the affected zone — giving them seconds to reach shelter before impact.

This mod handles detection and alerts only. It does NOT intercept missiles. For full Iron Dome, David’ Sling functionality, pair it with Israeli Air Defense System.

Setup
  1. Open Eden Editor and load your mission.
  2. Place the ELM-2084 MMR radar from the Tzeva Adom category.
  3. Rotate it to face the threat direction — toward enemy launchers, artillery or launch sites.
  4. Place HPSS-32 and/or ECN-3000 sirens from the Objects category around populated areas.
  5. Launch the mission. The system activates automatically — no scripting required.

Shelter Times

Countdown duration is calculated automatically based on the detected threat type:

How It Works

The ELM-2084 MMR continuously scans for incoming threats. On detection, the system calculates the predicted impact point and time-to-impact, then broadcasts an alert to all players in the affected zone. The authentic Tzeva Adom siren plays through any nearby HPSS-32 or ECN-3000 loudspeakers, and an on-screen HUD countdown shows exactly how many seconds remain to take cover.

One siren plays per alert period regardless of salvo size — 40 rockets fire, one alert sounds. Each threatened city gets its own siren and marker. The HUD remains active through Iron Dome intercepts and only clears when the shelter timer fully expires.

  • Detection and alert logic runs server-side. Audio and HUD are handled client-side.
  • Works in singleplayer, multiplayer, hosted and dedicated servers.
  • No scripting or mission edits required — place the radar and go.
