The 1953 Ford Mainline represented Ford’s dependable entry-level full-size sedan during the early 1950s. Positioned below the Customline and Crestline in Ford’s lineup, the Mainline emphasized practicality, durability, and value while still reflecting the era’s stylish postwar design language. Buyers could choose between a reliable inline-six engine or Ford’s smooth flathead V8, both paired with manual or optional Ford-O-Matic transmissions. Available in several body styles including the Fordor sedan, the 1953 Mainline featured simple but attractive trim, a wide chrome grille, and the understated elegance typical of early-1950s American family cars. These cars were widely used as everyday transportation, fleet vehicles, and delivery wagons, making them a familiar sight on American roads during the decade.

This mod recreates the 1953 Ford Mainline Fordor with careful attention to historical accuracy. Included are both the Fordor V8 and Fordor 6 variants, each modeled with correct period components and details appropriate to the original cars. The vehicle also features a full set of research-based factory paint colors, carefully matched from period paint charts to ensure authenticity. In addition to single-color finishes, the mod includes factory-correct two-tone liveries, allowing players to recreate the stylish combinations offered by Ford in the early 1950s. A livery template is also provided so players and modders can easily create custom paint schemes for the car.

In gameplay, the 1953 Ford Mainline can appear in several locations throughout the game world. Players may discover the car while exploring Barn Finds, searching through Junkyards, browsing the Salon, or bidding for one at Auctions. The vehicle is also integrated into the job system, meaning it can appear in repair and restoration jobs, giving players additional opportunities to encounter and work on this classic early-1950s Ford.
