Description:

-News-
For those wanting a larger building overhaul, you can check my workshop for the "small building overhaul" mod which touches upon most if not all buildings exept the resource counties.

—Intro:—
Peasantry was not worth it in the base game. The top peasantry buildings either cost 24 food per building! or -20 public order! it was INSANE. This mod fixes that and balances the currency to be more competitive towards industrycommerce.

TLDR; Peasantry Overhaul!

—Changes:—
Additions or changes to buildings.

-Food trader branch: (Land Development)
Consumes no food
Increased peasantry income.
Livestock Market for CommercePeasantry hybrid builds.

-Government Support:
You choose either more food OR more peasantry.
Food branch no longer generates peasantry and vice versa.
Peasantry Branch % increased, now costs food to maintain.

-Grain Storage:
Grants Public Order
Reduces Food Consumption
Eased City requirements for T3 and 4. T5 requires a T8 city now.

-Tax Collection:
No longer causes public disorder.
Increased Peasantry Income
Costs food to maintain

-Confucian Temples:
Commercepeasantry small boost at T23
20% corruption reduction at T3

—Balance:—
-Food consumption is not tested, may be adjusted. Liu Zhang and Zhang Lu’s background bonus does not count.
-Income should be less than industrycommerce when both compared with and without reforms. (industry and commerce has far more modifiers and their tech goes hand in hand unlike peasantrycommerce).
-Reforms is needed to unlock the most powerful buildings. No 250% peasantry bonus or 20% corruption reduction without those reforms!
-Weaker admin bonuses for peasantry.

—Compatibility—
Not with Overhauls. (like TROM)
Not with Building revamps (There’s one out there….somewhere. Atleast one!)
Can be applied mid-save, beware the changing values though.

—Thoughts—
Temple is thought as a replacement for State Workshop (which is industry anyway).
State Workshop might still be used for adjacent anti-corruption late game if needed.
Reforms should be Green and Yellow for the most part.

—Build Tips—
-Peasantryfood commanderies: Choose food or peasantry. Gotta balance.
-Commerce commanderies can be used for commercepeasantry hybrid builds.
