Auto Move to House Arrest
Automatically moves prisoners to house arrest upon capture, unless your character has the Sadistic or Vengeful trait.
Why?
Prisoners in dungeons suffer health penalties and may die before you can ransom them. Dead prisoners = no ransom gold.
Manually moving 50+ prisoners after a war is tedious.
Features
- Uses on_action, not scripted_effect override → compatible with most mods including total conversions (AGOT, etc.)
- Respects character personality: Sadistic/Vengeful characters keep prisoners in dungeon to avoid stress.
- Works for all imprisonment sources: wars, abduction, imprisonment interaction, etc.
Note for Compassionate characters
Moving prisoners TO the dungeon costs stress. If you want a prisoner to die in the dungeon, you’ll have to manually move them back and pay that stress cost.
