Pentimento in Violet/紫罗兰之痕 (EN/CN) (Chapter 2 Added)

REQUIRES BASEMOD FOR WORKSHOP AND LOCALIZATION MANAGER.

Roland is turned into a girl by a drunk Angela. Things happen.

IMPORTANT: if you want to uninstall this mod, unequip Roland’s keypage from this mod or transform him back and equip some Battle Symbol on him before closing the game. Otherwise, his height will be messed up.
If any sprites consistently disappear (eg Roland’s hurt sprite), you have to change a config file. You can find it in C:Users [your PC name] AppDataLocalLowProject MoonLibraryOfRuinaModConfigs. The file is called SpriteCompressionConfig.xml. Change <Disable>false</Disable> to <Disable>true</Disable>.

Based on an ancient mod by anaertailin (I did not use any of their assets, but this is directly referencing their mod). Do note that, while the basis of this mod is a joke, it’s still treated somewhat seriously. It also serves as an excuse to release my Black Silence rework and dump some of my unrelated ideas.

Currently offers 2 boss fights and 3 keypages exclusive to patron librarians, with Roland’s being the focus. This is the first mod I made that features proper cutscenes as well (Shion and Terminal Debauchery technically had those, but the former was drawn in crayons and the latter only featured an intro with no cutscene are).

To enter the first Reception, use a single book of Grade 9 Fixer (you can locate it at the top right of the map). You must beat the game before it becomes available. Second Reception is available through the same map node.

Roland may revert back to normal upon launching the game again. Just re-equip the keypage or click on the transform page when that happens. Note that, once that keypage is unlocked, you may freely unequip Black Silence’s keypage from him.

Don’t ask me why Roland has purple hair, ask anaertailin.

If certain descriptions are missing or Roland is weirdly stretched, you’re missing Localization Manager and/or BaseMod respectively. Get them.

To do:
-Refine the Roland switching system and transformed Roland’s head assets;
-Add more keypages and expand the story;
-Touch up dialogue when needed, I’m not the greatest writer;
-Fix whatever bugs come up and I’m sure there will be plenty of those.
