Roman Monarchy (Grand Campaign)
Simple Mod, allows Rome to be played with ‘Kingdom.’ For historical authenticity, this option is not default and must be obtained via a political transition for 10,000 gold.
Historical accuracy? Questionable, but we do know that there’s hints Julius Caesar for one was entertaining the notion of becoming ‘Rex’ oncemore. ‘Not Rex, but Caesar!’
Of course Rome itself was a monarchy prior to the Republic, and stranger Restorations have occurred. It’s up to you whether you’re a particularly ambitious General, or an Entruscan romantic. But now Rome can be ruled briefly as a Kingdom, before you inevitably ♥♥♥♥ off and become an Empire.
Slightly updated to fiddle around with packfile compatibility, tried to neaten up some of the other files but accidentally deleted the wrong files and resulted with Kingdom having a placeholder name, and ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ up repeatedly with the title. As a result, this mod just about works, not sure about compatibility though.
