Hi everyone!
I present you this mod as a small rework of the game’s artillery units.

Short description

Accuracy of artillery units has been reworked for all cultures. Roman artillery now is the best on earth while similar barbarian siege weapons are less effective. Furthermore the Roman faction(s) got the ability to research two levels of artillery upgrades which makes it more powerfull and provides more soldiers to defend it.

Content details
  • Slightly increased accuracy for Roman artillery
  • Slightly reduced accuracy for Barbarian artillery
  • Significantly recuded accuracy of artillery ships -> no snipers anymore!
  • Increased accuracy for scorpion, polybolos and all bastions
  • Siege works now grant garrison siege units
  • Two upgrade levels for Roman artillery with more men, better men and higher accuracy
  • New unit: legionary ballista with a small troup of legionaries to serve (upgrades available)
  • One upgrade level for greek, Carthaginian and eastern artillery with more and better men and higher accuracy
  • Support for custom battles (not finished for Greeks)

Compatibility

The mod has high compatibility, should work with most other mods and save games. Might be not compatible with overhaul mods like DEI. Tests for Grand Campaign and Imperator Augustus successful. Should also work for Caesar in Gaul. If you find any issues please write it in the comments below.
