《Three Kingdoms:Seeds of Hope》MOD Introduction

At the end of the Eastern Han Dynasty, the flames of the Yellow Turban Rebellion, like sparks, originated in the three provinces of Hebei, Henan, and Qingzhou, burning down the prestige of the Han Dynasty. It proclaimed: "The blue sky has died, the yellow sky shall prevail. The year is Jiazi, and the world is in great auspiciousness!"!
The land of Jiuzhou is in turmoil, akin to a boiling pot, and the seas around the country are in chaos, resembling an egg in danger. Furthermore, tribes such as the Xiongnu, Nanman, and Shanyue often harbor ambitions of rebellion, harassing the borders of the Great Han Dynasty, causing the people living there to suffer greatly. The vassal states occupy various prefectures and counties, either under the guise of "loyalty to the king" while actually seeking hegemony, or harboring the intention of "fighting against bandits" in order to achieve greatness for the world!

This is an era of great contention, where heroes and ambitious warlords rise together, and ideals and ambitions intertwine. It is also an era where you and I can rely on our swords to compete for supremacy in the Central Plains.

Module positioning:

"Three Kingdoms:Seeds of Hope" is a large-scale panoramic Three Kingdoms-themed mod created for "Mount and Blade II: Bannerlord". Based on the historical records in "The History of the Three Kingdoms" and "The Book of the Later Han Dynasty", and enhanced by legendary tales, we have recreated every detail of the nine provinces during the late Han Dynasty: from the strong winds and vigorous grasslands of Youzhou and Bingzhou to the water towns and marshlands of Jingzhou and Yangzhou; from the ruins of Weiyang in Chang’an to the river-facing towers and ships in Jianye, striving to restore the era’s essence of "broken mountains and rivers, and heroes emerging in abundance". Within the mod, we have replicated dozens of famous cities of the late Han Dynasty, such as Luoyang, Chengdu, and Jianye, within our limited capabilities. Famous passes such as Hulaoguan and Hangu Pass have their own unique landscapes and architectural styles. Historical separatist forces such as Cao, Liu, Sun, and Yuan each occupy a separate territory, with a large number of NPCs having exclusive facial modeling data. Hundreds of warriors, such as Guan Yu’s "fearsome reputation throughout the land", Zhang Liao’s "bravery in Hefei", and Zhou Yu’s "romantic charm on the left bank of the Yangtze River", have been historically researched and set with battlefield performances.

Core featured system:

1. The city’s fortifications and passes are influenced by traditional Chinese culture
The urban scene aesthetics have been comprehensively restructured, with the city walls, taverns, and city moats all undergoing a traditional Chinese style replacement. New models for passes and county towns have been added, and the battlefield maps have been adapted to reflect the geographical differences between the north and south (such as the southern water towns and the northern deserts). The large map has been optimized for the distribution of special products and the setting of town prosperity levels. Castles have been given the attribute of "small county towns," and the rebellion mechanism has been made more consistent with the logic of the late Han Dynasty. Currently, some traditional Chinese urban scene replacements have been completed, and the expansion will continue in the future.

2. Fully revitalized Three Kingdoms culture
Based on the historical background of the thirteen states in the Eastern Han Dynasty, create a unique culture for each of the thirteen states, ensuring that factions, NPCs, and wild monsters align with the culture. Replace the original factions with culture-specific wild monsters such as Guanzhong prisoners, Hetao Wuhuan and Xianbei, and Hexi horse thieves. Culture influences the characteristics of military units and equipment styles.

3. Official positions and the prefecture and county system
Adapting to the historical official system, players engage in intense political struggles with AI lords within the faction, earning official ranks such as the General of Suinan, the General of Fenwei, and the General of Cheqi. Furthermore, the influence of the governor position on the development of the faction has been significantly enhanced. In the new county system, fully occupying an entire county can unlock exclusive bonuses.

4. Reconstructed military unit and formation training system
Redesign the military line-up for all factions, highlighting the unique characteristics of each type of military unit: Military units will be redefined, with each major faction possessing its own distinct military system, while minor factions will inherit the military system of the Han Dynasty
Under the military training system, both AI and players will adhere to the training regime to enhance their own strength. During the training process, some historical generals can unlock their own exclusive soldiers!
To build an elite army, you need to prepare a large amount of supplies for them and prepare for war!

5. Military service system
Starting from scratch, one can rise to the position of Zhonglang! Players can follow historical generals, fight on the battlefield, manage relationships, acquire military equipment, and turn the tide in their favor when they are in peril, eventually entering the court and becoming an official.

6. Unique item drops
In the world of the Three Kingdoms, peerless weapons are rare. You must defeat powerful enemies to obtain them as spoils of war! In the folk, there are also legendary masters who can forge divine weapons for you, granting additional equipment prefixes.

7. Heroic trait system
Endow NPCs with powerful abilities that are consistent with historical facts, reconstruct their talents and corresponding characteristics based on their historical facts, and increase the difficulty of the game. This will make the battles against them more challenging and strategic for players.

8. Music and audio-visual system
Replace some of the original BGM, add Chinese voice options and Chinese voice for wild monsters, and delete redundant English voice. Optimize the combat audio-visual experience: adjust the holding method of long-barreled weapons to a gun-point-forward alert posture, correct the animations of two-handed weapons and long-barreled weapons on horseback, and enhance physical effects such as knockdown and dismounting. Add a large number of Three Kingdoms equipment models and special appearances such as imperial clothing.

Conclusion:

The might of Dangyang, the flames of Red Cliff, the ambition of Qishan… Those legends from historical records will now be interpreted by you personally. Whether it’s seeking refuge with a warlord to vie for supremacy, establishing one’s own faction to restore the Han Dynasty, or retreating to the mountains to write a legend, "Three Kingdoms:Seeds of Hope" will present you with a chaotic Three Kingdoms era that is both textually researched and intriguing. Are you ready to earn a place in history (or infamy) on this land?
