Legacy of Yakub
"To make a devil, one must begin grafting from the original man…" – Elijah Muhammed
This is a mod that adds 3 nations, based on the writing of Elijah Mohammed and Malachai York. The three ages of Dominions correspond with before, during, and after Yakub and his experiments of grafting a new germ of man.
Nations
A new age of prosperity with bronze metallurgy has arrived, led by wise & powerful mage-priests. But how will they manage to deal with Yakub with his unholy science and followers?
Exiled with his followers, Yakub sets up Pelan as the center of his grafting experiments to create a new germ of man. But ancient malice stirs behind the eyes of the second generation…
Yakub was powerful, but not immortal. After Yakub’s death, his followers gradually disbanded and laboratories fell into ruin. The more mutated creatures did not survive, but the others fled into caves. Due to the evil from their method of creation, devils possessed these Descended, as they came to be known.

Disclaimer
This mod was not created to take ‘cheap shots’ at any group or organization, nor put forth any argument for or against alternative theories of history. I also do not claim any particular expertise regarding Nation of Islam, Nuwaubian, or any other related doctrines and practices. This is meant to be a translation of an interesting syncretic mythology into Dominions for purposes of entertainment.

This version initially released to the Steam Workshop should be considered a ‘beta’. Most aspects are already finished, and the small details can now be fleshed-out further, such as balance tweaks (such as monster stats and cost), continued improvement of descriptions, and even improvements to sprites. I don’t anticipate any issues with continuing in-progress games due to updates (mostly due to monster IDs being changed), but can’t guarantee anything for certain. The idea here is especially to receive feedback about these aspects. I am particularly interested in hearing about experiences during multiplayer games! The goal is for every unit to be cool and interesting, and not make one think ‘why would I ever recruit this?’
