[ETF] Butchering Now Yields Hemogen!
=======> About <=======
This mod makes it to where butchering gives you or yields hemogen. You can think of it as extracting the remaining hemogen from the body through the butchery process. No more wasting a perfectly good resource just because you don’t have a hemogen extraction operation set up yet!

Mod settings and some other info showing up next!

=======> Features | Main Info <=======
- The Master Toggle: I’ve included an Enable/Disable button in the settings. If you want to stop the extra yield for a bit but don’t want to risk the "red errors" of removing a mod from a running save, just flip this switch.
- Choose Your Pack: You can pick exactly which hemogen pack is produced. It defaults to the standard Biotech hemogen pack, but it expands if you have VRE – Sanguophage.

- Two Ways to Harvest (Yield Modes): You can use the new switch button to toggle between two distinct logic modes:
– Manual Sliders: Here you can precisely set the yield between 1 to 10 for both fresh and rotten corpses.
– Base Body Size Yields: Or here you can let the mod calculate yields based on the creature’s baseBodySize! Small critters (under 1.0 size) give 1 pack, while a standard human (1.0 size) gives 2. For the big game, every additional 0.5 body size adds another pack. So, a Thrumbo actually feels like a Thrumbo!

- Extraction Success Chance: Added a "Extraction Success Chance" slider (0% to 100%). If you want to make hemogen extraction from butchery a bit more unpredictable or difficult, lower this slider. It defaults to 100% for a guaranteed harvest, but the choice is yours.
- No More "Robot Blood": I’ve hardened the logic to ensure only organic, fleshy creatures provide hemogen. The mod now explicitly skips mechanoids and supernatural entities (if Anomaly is active), ensuring you aren’t accidentally extracting hemogen from a Scyther (any thoughts on how a Scyther would have that?).

- Smart Detection: The mod "knows" when you’re butchering something special. It automatically checks for:
– Sanguophages from Biotech DLC
– Malachai from Alpha Genes
– Various xenotypes from Vanilla Races Expanded – Sanguophage, Meta’s Genelines – Vampires, Big and Small – Vampires and the Undead, and Whiteglove’s Hemokomori Xenotype.
- Language Support: English, Spanish & Portuguese
=======> Mod Integration <=======
Vanilla Races Expanded – Sanguophage:
If you use this, the mod automatically switches defaults to be more immersive. Animals give Animal hemogen, Humanoids give Corpse hemogen, and Sanguophages give the high-quality Sanguophage hemogen.
If you have this mod, a second slider appears so you can set a lower yield (or high yield) for those gross, stinky corpses.
Also a small note about Butcher Rotten, they have their own mod settings of what products get produced. So, if you don’t get a yield or yields not matching the ranges it has to due with the "other products" setting. If you turn that to 100%, it should get produced. And this also means more customization too!
=======> Compatibility <=======
- Production Buildings: Works with any butcher table, including modded ones like Small Butcher Table or Electric Butcher Table.
- Anomaly DLC: For 1.5/1.6 users, Mutants and Entities are skipped by default. If you think some of them should give hemogen, let me know!
- Saves: After some playtesting, I concluded that you can add or remove this mod mid-save without any issues.
- Known Mod Incompatibilities: No known mod incompatibilities at this time.
I hope you enjoy the mod. If you have more Sanguophage-like xenotypes from other mods you want me to add to the list, suggest them and I’ll consider adding it.
You’re welcome! 👍
