From My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic, The Great & Powerful Trixie makes her grand appearance in Aether! She’ll blow you away with all the tricks up her sleeve!
This pony was created for The Rivals of Aether Cartoon Jam, a month-long contest to create a character who is themed after or from a western cartoon.
Moveset:
Gimmick – Is This Your Card?:
Many of Trixie’s Normals feature her presenting her opponents with various cards. The first card that she hits an opponent with will be displayed on their hud, if she hits that same card again it becomes an extra-powerful critical blow!
Neutral Special – Hat Trick:
When Trixie attacks, her hat flies off of her head, using an attack that features any kind of magical prop next to the hat sends that item to the hat.
Neutral Special has Trixie use her unicorn magic to launch that prop out as a powerful projectile.
Side Special – Trixie Rocket:
Trixie summons a rocket and hitches a ride. Sending her flying forwards, when that rocket either flies for too long or hits something it’ll explode! Blasting away not just your opponent, but Trixie too.
Up Special – Up My Sleeve:
Trixie flings upwards a rope of scarves out from her wrist. If it hits either an opponent or a hat, it’ll fling Trixie upwards.
Down Special – Disappearing Trick:
Trixie hops up and tosses a smoke bomb below her, when it hits the ground it explodes into a cloud of smoke, obscuring all behind it for a brief period.
Bonus – Hide Hand:
Press [TAUNT] at any moment to flip over the cards on Trixie’s hud. Hiding whatever cards you have up next for your opponent.
