Description:

The Siegebreaker has had specialized training allowing them to call in mortar strikes and air support throughout a mission.

Their bread-and-butter-use-every-turn ability is Mortar Strike. This works similar to an Archon’s Blazing Pinions however you choose a single tile at squadsight. The damage does not happen until the next turn so aim and plan well.

Their secondary weapon is an Arc Thrower which can help make landing Mortar Strikes, at least one one enemy.

If all else fails they have limited charges to call in immediate air support missile strikes. Below the traditional XCom perk row will be an Ordnance tree where you can pick up more options.

Their primary is a Vektor Rifle with which they have Squadsight.
The top row contains a lot of shooting support perks.

The middle row is mostly focused on making your Mortar Strikes do more

The bottom row contains more Arc Thrower perks.

Many perks are the normal grenade ones that work with anything Explosive so should work with Mortar Strikes and Airstrikes. Others may have a familiar icon and will functionally do what you’re used to but had to be made custom to work properly with these abilities.

DISCLAIMERS:
Yes it is a mortar class. Yes it is hard to land the mortar strike. Idk just spam the Airstrikes if you can’t land anything else. Stuff and things can be adjusted in configs.

This class was designed with the TedJam environment in mind but should work with the appropriate mods also installed.

All of the abilities should be working but this class should be considered in Beta phase. Trying to decide what is effective and what may need to be replaced or tuned. All feedback is welcome.

The Visualizer doesn’t like too much of this… having multiple Siegebreakers on a squad will start taking up a lot of time at the start of each turn.

The perk content hates me so all of the air strikes will look the same but you should see their effect fly-overs appearing.
