Merc: Malina Blizna
I higly recommend to give the whole bunch of ‘The Other Ones’ a try as a team. Skat, Pina, Igwa, Laboum, Yori and Cutness are designed to fit together pretty well. Here is the collection.
Despite her young age, Malina already has earned some spurs by serving in the Polish Land Forces Medical Corps and in various UN operations. Her grandfather once served as a medic in WW II and so she did the same, to honor him. She loves her grandparents and visits them as often as possible. Some say just to eat together babcias pierogi.
As a good doctor she does everything possible to help, regardless of their patients origin and the danger she puts herself in. Whatever happens she remains positive, and that also rubs off on her patients and comrades. In addition to Polish she also speaks English and German fluently, and is currently learning French, Italian and Spanish.

Babcia cooks best & Pierogi
Every 60 hours Malina’s babcia sends two pierogi ruskie, lovingly cooked according to the old family recipe. Eating a pierogi gives 4 more AP until the end of the next turn. Pierogi can be shared with friends.
Her stats, perks and items make her a support character obviously for healing in the first place. But with her exceptional wisdom she is highly trainable into the direction she is needed.
Malina comes fully voiced with over 160 individual voicelines. Myself and a befriended native polish speaker wrote the lines together. Thankfully she also did the actual voice acting, highly appreciated! We blended in some polish phrases, words and rants in a way, that everyone can still understand it without actually speaking the language.
I heavily edited a generated image to get the artwork for Malina (Yes, detailing and coloring was done by hand). The pierogi is an edited and recolored photo. Perk and status icons are created with Illustrator and Photoshop.
Besides bugfixes (and maybe some minor tweaks recently) the mod is finished. As a member of the merc team ‘The Other Ones’ some campaign stuff is already in the early planning stage, to shed some more light on background stories of the group. But a reliable time schedule can’t be given at that point.
