NO randos
When you’ve established your great enterprise and want to reward your old comrades with titles and positions, you open the court page only to find you don’t recognize any of these courtiers?
When you’ve worked hard to achieve the imperial examination’s highest honor, only to discover there’s a long line of people you’ve never heard of ranked ahead of you?
This mod might help.
It provides:
1. Each year, characters meeting the following conditions will die naturally:
– Not a ruler
– No living parents
– Not a historical character
– Not a concubine
– No court position or inspiration
– Not a knight eligible for accolades
– Their spouse and relatives have no court positions or inspiration, and are not knights
– No social relationship with the player
2. For governments using the administrative system, two types of characters meeting the following conditions will die naturally:
– Every five years: Count-level rulers without parents and their descendants (often enfeoffed by AI or players; upon their death, the titles will return to the normal appointment sequence)
– Each year: Non-rulers without parents who are not historical characters and have aptitude above 1000
To ensure rulers still have sufficient courtiers available, fertility settings have been adjusted so landless characters can now normally have multiple children.
This mod will cause a significant reduction in character count in the early game, but it still cannot replace population control mods, because even after removing the redos, the reproduction of rulers and courtiers will still cause character numbers to slowly increase.
