One fine day with a woof and a purr, a baby was born and caused a little stir, no flaming lion or birds of a feather can stop CatDog from entering into Rivals of Aether.

CatDog is an all-rounder with a unique tag team mechanic that swaps which CatDog is in the lead, changing certain attacks on the fly. Their stretchy body gives them plenty of space to cover, letting them attack from afar or close the gap quicky with just a stretch. However, such an elastic body can sling back on them hard, as it also makes them a bigger target and leave them open for attacks should they miss their attacks or stretch out at the wrong time. With wild hijinxs they can bring to the table, you can’t go wrong with CatDog!
NSpecial: Boomerang Bone/Bouncing Hairball
Dog spits out a bone that flies into a boomerang pattern. You can hit the bone to send it straightforward, going much faster and dealing more damage and knockback.
Cat spits out a bouncing hairball. Can bounce at different heights depending on Cat being on the air or not and platform heights.
FSpecial: Fight Cloud
Cat and Dog both start to fight each other, causing a cloud to cover them. Can be moved either left or right. Ends with them on a pratfall state if they are left in the air.
USpecial: Dog the Mighty
Dog and Cat dons their superhero suit and flies into the air…and then falling helplessly. Covers a decent horizontal distance but is linear and predictable. Deals weak damage though the move is much stronger on startup.
DSpecial: Tag Team Swap
Cat and Dog punches on either side while they swap around. This switches who’s on the lead.
